The fastest way to Zurich and St. Gallen from the airport is by train. There is no need to spend money on an airport taxi if your hotel is located within the city limits.
After passing through customs and collecting your baggage, follow the “Railway” signs. Tickets are available at the ticket counter in the main hall of the railway station.
Impact Hub is centrally located within the arches of the old “Wipkinger” train viaduct between Escherwyssplatz and Limmatplatz in “Kreis 5,” one of Zürich’s most dynamic districts. It is perfectly connected to public transport—train, bus, and tram to all directions are within 3–5 minutes walking distance, best via Hardbrücke station.
Impact Hub is right next to Josefswiese, one of Zürich’s most beautiful green spaces. The Freitag tower, Hive, and Yonex badminton are immediate neighbors. Also within walking distance are Prime Tower, Technopark Zürich, Schiffbau, and many other points of interest.
St. Gallen is only one hour away from Zurich by car and is also easy to reach by public transport. Austria and Germany are also nearby.
By car
Take the motorway exit St. Gallen/Kreuzbleiche and head toward the centre. After exiting the tunnel, take the left lane, and follow the sign to Universität/WBZ Holzweid.
By public transport
Trains run from Zurich’s main train station and Zurich Airport to St. Gallen every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1 hour. There are also direct express trains from Berne (2 hours), Geneva (4 hours), and Munich (3 hours). At St. Gallen’s main railway station, take bus No. 5 to Rotmonten. The buses run every 10 minutes. Get off at the Universität bus stop and cross the main road. Alternatively, go to the Bahnhof Nord bus stop (behind the railway station) and take bus No. 9 to Universität West.
By plane
Zurich Airport is only one hour away from St. Gallen by car or train. A direct train runs from Zurich Airport to St. Gallen twice an hour.
